Step 1: 6061-T6 Forging: We start by forging the aluminum alloy under thousands of tons of pressure. This aligns the metal’s grain structure, creating a backbone that is significantly stronger than standard billet machining.

Step 2: CNC Carved Finish: We don’t stop at forging. The arm is then transferred to a 5-Axis CNC machine for precision “Carving”. This process mills away excess weight and creates a stunning, architectural surface finish with visible tooling paths.

The Result: You get the structural integrity of a forging with the premium aesthetic of a billet race part. It is built to survive the Baja 1000 and look good at SEMA.

 

2. Geometry Correction: Fixing the Steering Wander

Lifting the new Gen 4 Tacoma reduces caster, leading to “floaty” steering at highway speeds.

High-Caster Engineering: The TO-AL4009-FU features 3.5 degrees of built-in caster correction. This restores the heavy, planted steering feel that the factory intended, even with 35-inch tires.

Spring Clearance: Our “Carved” profile is specifically shaped to wrap around the larger aftermarket coilover springs, ensuring zero contact even at full suspension droop.

 

3.Hardware Built for Abuse

Heavy-Duty Ball Joints: We utilize a high-misalignment ball joint design that exceeds OEM articulation angles. Equipped with a sealed dust boot, it keeps mud and sand out, extending service life in harsh environments.

Polyurethane (PU) Bushings: To match the rigid TNGA-F chassis, we replaced soft rubber with performance PU bushings. They provide direct steering feedback and resist cracking in extreme cold temperatures.
